Are you alive with ideas and endlessly curious or inventive? Explore the creative world of work, hear amazing imagineers and performers share their stories and key advice at the Creative Industries Career Expo, 11 – 13 March at Museum Africa, Newtown.
We invite learners to leaders passionate about producing ideas to be turned into intellectual property.
What is Intellectual Property?
It’s really true! Some of the crazy, persistent thoughts tickling your imagination may well be a lucrative pot of gold!
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations such as
- Literary and artistic works
- Designs and symbols
- Names and images used commercially
Intellectual Property allows creative people to protect their works and control how they are used. Copyright, design rights, patents and registered trademarks are all recognized ways for creatives to secure their rights and earn money.
Ignite, Creative Spark!
